Croatia have advanced to their first ever World Cup final after beating England 2-1 on Wednesday evening.

The match at at Luzhniki Stadium saw Three Lions strike first as Kieran Tripper's fabulous shot found the top right in the 5th minute.

Croatia did not give up, they equalized the score in the 68th minute with Ivan Perisic.

The match's regular time ended 1-1.

In the extra time, Mario Mandzukic took the stage and gave his team the 2-1 lead in the 109th minute.

Croatia will face France in the final on July 15, while England will take on their group opponents Belgium once again in this tournament, this time for the 3rd place.
