Erdogan calls on Turkish entrepreneurs to invest

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on Turkish entrepreneurs to accelerate their investments in Turkey.

At a ceremonial launching in Istanbul Sunday for four ships built for Indonesia, Ghana and Myanmar, Erdogan said international investments had continued to pour in Turkey even after the July 15 coup attempt.

"International investors continue to increase their investments in our country," he said, calling on Turkish businessmen to do the same.

"Do not hesitate, you will regret it if you are late," he said. "I believe in our entrepreneurs as I believe in my country and my nation."

Turkey's Karadeniz Holding Company sent "Karadeniz Powership Osman Khan" energy ship to Ghana, "Karadeniz Powership Onur Sultan" to Myanmar and "Karadeniz Powership Gokhan Bey," and "Karadeniz PowershipYasin Bey," ships to Indonesia.

Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Transport and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan also attended the ceremony.
