Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu on Monday received an Iranian security delegation, led by the Border Guard Commander Brig. Gen. Ghasem Rezaei, in the capital Ankara.

Soylu said the strength of two brother countries -- Turkey and Iran -- would help boost peace in the region.

The bilateral cooperation would also contribute to overcome the regional problems, he added.

Rezaei, for his part, said the increasing cooperation, especially on the border security, is a result of the bilateral meetings over the last six months and expressed hopes for better relations.
