The MD83 type passenger plane, which made the Istanbul-Isparta flight of Atlasjet Airlines with 50 passengers and 7 crew members, crashed in 2007 near Çukurca in Isparta's Keçiborlu district. There were no survivors in the catastrophic accident. In the statement made, it was stated that the failure of any explosion after the plane crashed was due to the fact that there was not too much fuel in the plane because it was flown on the short course.
