Coca Cola was actually a narcotic drug

The inventor of Coca-Cola was John S. Pemberton, who created its first formula in 1886. Pemberton, who served as a colonel and was injured in the American Civil War, was addicted to morphine and was trying to find opium, although it was dangerous. Working as a chemist and pharmacist in Columbus, Pemperton thought of making cocaine wine. Pemberton invented the French Wine Coca in 1885 with his own specially developed formulas and blends. A year later, it launched its product, a mixture of cola extract, wine and coca leaves. However, the cocaine leaves and alcohol used in the product caused a problem due to the laws of Atlanta. So he was forced to quit this job, and on May 8, 1886, he made a refreshing alcohol-free syrup in a rice teapot in Atlanta. He offered the syrup mixed with carbonated water to his friends. This new syrup was so popular that Pemberton offered the glass for sale at 5 cents in the garden of its pharmacy. Pemberton's partner Frank Robinson named the product Coca Cola and created the logo of Coca-Cola, which has remained unchanged until today. Coca Cola is currently consumed in almost all countries of the world.
