Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis will pay an official visit to Turkey on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

“During the visit, all aspects of Turkish-Lithuanian bilateral relations will be discussed, and views on Turkey-EU relations as well as current regional and international developments will be exchanged,” the ministry said in a statement.

Turkish-Lithuanian relations are “positively improving,” according to the ministry’s website.

“Turkey's support for Lithuania's NATO membership and Lithuania’s support for Turkey’s EU membership negotiations have been instrumental in further strengthening our relations,” it added.
